voluntary sector, so ensuring that core business management skills
and examples of best practice can be accessed.
‘Mainstream’ enterprise agencies can provide the generic
advice needed by all businesses, but in our experience, groups from
the Community & Voluntary sectors often need particular support
with Marketing and Finance. Intensive help is available through a
team of Business Link accredited specialists.
Equally, Trinity can provide the specialised additional support that
community or voluntary groups need when making the step into Social
Enterprise. This support might revolve around matters of governance
or legal form. In other circumstances a group may require help around
finance and taxation law or perhaps signposting to sources of grant
funding.
