| The 6 acre field we are
on used to be a strawberry picking site, and we have been here since
February 2004. Since then we have constructed polytunnels, completed
landscaping, planted crops, and dug beds. We are housed in portacabins
and a steel storage unit. We have installed a drain to stop flooding
from the field.
The field is sown with a clover/ryegrass mix to increase the fertility
until we grow crops in it in future years. The 2 large polytunnels
have raised beds that we have constructed, and we have a small polytunnel
for propagating seeds.
